Warmer Thursday, Windy Friday

Temperatures will be warmer on Thursday, with highs in the upper 40’s to near 50 for most of the area. Temperatures will be slightly cooler where the ground remains covered by snow.

South winds will be on the increase Friday morning. By afternoon gusts of 30 to 40 mph are likely, with the strongest winds along and east of Interstate 35.

Thursday – Sunny, with a high near 49. West southwest wind 6 to 8 mph becoming south in the afternoon.

Thursday Night – Partly cloudy, with a low around 31. South wind 7 to 12 mph increasing to 13 to 18 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 28 mph.

Friday – Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 51. South wind 14 to 18 mph becoming northwest in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph.

Friday Night – A chance of sprinkles and flurries before 11 p.m., then a chance of flurries between 11 p.m. and midnight. Partly cloudy, with a low around 24. North northwest wind 7 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Saturday – Sunny, with a high near 47.

Saturday Night – Mostly clear, with a low around 27.

Sunday – Sunny, with a high near 55.
