Strong winds and above normal temperatures will be in place today. Look for wind speeds this afternoon and early evening in the 25 to 30 mph range with gusts 40 to 45 mph.

Strong winds and low relative humidity will result in very high grassland fire danger this afternoon and early evening. Some locations generally west of Highway 14 may reach extreme fire danger. Outdoor burning is highly discouraged.

Tonight – Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming clear, with a low around 34. Breezy, with a west northwest wind 23 to 28 mph decreasing to 15 to 20 mph in the evening. Winds could gust as high as 48 mph.

Sunday – Sunny, with a high near 59. West wind 9 to 17 mph, with gusts as high as 26 mph.

Sunday Night – Clear, with a low around 37. South southwest wind 7 to 11 mph.

Monday – Sunny, with a high near 66. West wind 5 to 7 mph becoming light and variable in the afternoon.
