A Salina man was injured when he was struck by a vehicle just after 9 a.m. Thursday at an east Salina intersection.

Police say Lexxi Espada, 19, Solomon, was driving a 2008 Ford Focus westbound, and turning south onto Ohio Street, when she struck Willard Bradshaw, 74, who was crossing South Ohio Street at the East Iron Avenue intersection. The impact threw Bradshaw onto the windshield of Espada’s car.

EMS transported Bradshaw to Salina Regional Health Center with unspecified injuries. Espada was not injured.
