The Salina County Club is now under new ownership.

According to a statement on their website, Salina-based JRI Hospitality has purchased the facility located at 2101 E. Country Club Road.

According to the statement, JRI is planning to restore many of the club’s infrastructure, including:
  • A new parking lot
  • Installing a new roof
  • Upgrading the club’s dining areas
  • Integrating new technologies to enhance the member experience
“One of those technologies we’re planning on adding is a state-of-the-art golf simulator,” JRI Founder and CEO Jason Ingermanson said. “This will allow members to practice and analyze their swing, track their performance, and play on various courses. It’s the ultimate golf experience outside of actually stepping on the green and we’re excited to offer it to our members.”

JRI Hospitality owns and operates more than sixty Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers nationwide, including the Salina location on S. 9th Street, as well as a new Freddy’s location currently under construction at 916 E. Crawford. JRI also owns two Mokas Cafe restaurants in Kansas, including both Salina locations.

JRI is also introducing the upcoming Original Grande restaurants, one of which will be located in the former Long John Silver’s building at 1019 E. Crawford. That facility is currently undergoing an extensive renovation. JRI recently announced the acquisition of Abilene’s Taco Grande location, which will be rebranded under The Original Grande concept.

Founded in 2011, with the mission to bring people together with one-of-a-kind experiences, JRI says they are driven by the communities they serve, resulting in their desire to enrich the lives of their guests. “Our acquisition of the Salina Country Club is just another example of our dedication and commitment to serving the Salina community,” Ingermanson said.

“While our company continues to grow and expand its reach across the U.S.,” Ingermanson added, “we make sure we take care of our community.”
