Another fantastic addition to the team: Izaak Winter of Yaya's!

Born in Concordia Kansas, Izaak discovered a love for cooking early when he found himself cooking Sunday dinner with his mother at the age of 12. While attending college in pursuit of a degree in biology, Izaak found himself in the kitchen again working in various restaurants. He realized that cooking was his calling, and immediately transferred to culinary school to pursue a career as a chef. In 2011, Izaak began working with PB&J at Yaya's in Overland Park, KS while still attending school. After graduation in 2012, he began training as a junior sous chef at Yaya’s. Over a nearly a decade of working with PB&J has lead Izaak to work in an number of restaurant concepts from Chicago to most recently the Executive Chef of Yaya’s Little Rock. Chef Izaak is now excited for the opportunity to be home and be Executive Chef of Yaya’s Salina.
