48 hours in and fermentation is all but complete. Will check the gravity again in the morning, cold crash and keg them up. Shooting for a four day start to finish brew

Wow. We had a great time

This Thursday is our Sept. meeting. Sam and I (John) will discuss beer with wood. Sam will discuss the history of wood and beer and I will talk about using various forms of wood with beer. I will also be bringing several homebrews for sampling including my whiskey barrel aged Imperial Stout, my whiskey barrel fermented mixed culture Porter, my tequila barrel fermented Margarita Gose and if all goes well my barrel aged solera Grisette.
