Russell, Lincoln, Barton, Ellsworth, Saline, Rice, McPherson, Marion, Chase.

Including the cities of Russell, Lincoln, Sylvan Grove, Great Bend, Ellsworth, Wilson, Salina, Lyons, Sterling, McPherson, Hillsboro, Marion, Peabody, Cottonwood Falls, and Strong City

* WHAT…Freezing drizzle and light freezing rain expected. Total ice accumulations up to a tenth of an inch on elevated surfaces. Winds gusting as high as 30 mph.

* WHERE…Russell, Lincoln, Barton and Ellsworth Counties.

* WHEN…From midnight tonight to 8 AM CDT Friday.

* IMPACTS…Slick and icy roads are possible especially bridges and overpasses. Light ice accumulations expected primarily on elevated surfaces which could impact the early morning commute.

* WHAT…Freezing rain expected. Total ice accumulations of up to one tenth of an inch.

* WHERE…Republic, Washington, Cloud, Clay, Ottawa, and Dickinson Counties.

* WHEN…From midnight tonight to 10 AM CDT Friday.

* IMPACTS…Slippery spots are possible on bridges and overpasses, which could cause hazardous conditions for the morning commute. Grassy areas likely will receive little or no accumulation.
