Severe Storms, Flooding Possible Thursday Through Saturday

Strong to severe storms will be possible late tonight and into early Wednesday and again on Wednesday evening and Wednesday night. The primary threats will be large hail and damaging winds.

More rounds of storms are expected for Thursday through Saturday with some severe weather possible. Dry weather is expected to return for late Sunday into the beginning of next week.

Wednesday – A chance of rain and thunderstorms, mainly before 9 a.m., then a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 10 a.m. Cloudy, with a high near 67. Southeast wind 7 to 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Wednesday Night – A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 1am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 60. South wind 8 to 11 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph.

Thursday – A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly sunny, with a high near 79. South wind 5 to 9 mph becoming north northwest in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 18 mph.

Thursday Night – A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 1 a.m. Partly cloudy, with a low around 57. East northeast wind around 7 mph.
