Salina Police Asking Public’s Help to Identify Shoplifting Suspect

SALINA – Salina Police and Crime Stoppers are asking the public’s help
to identify a possible suspect in a recent shoplifting case

According to media release, a white male wearing a black shirt, black hat and jeans entered Target, 2939 Market Place, on August 26 at 3:26 p.m., grabbed a basket, and loaded it with diapers and a toy. The suspect then proceeded to the electronics section. Once in the electronics area, the male cut the security system off the box of a black Motorola G Stylist cell phone valued at $299.99. The male then left the basket at the front doors and left the store with the phone.

The following day, on August 27, at 2:45 p.m., a white male wearing a white shirt, a gray and black hat, and jeans entered Target, grabbed a basket, and once again loaded it with diapers and a toy. The suspect again proceeded to the electronics section, where he cut the security system off the box of a black Samsung A20 cell phone valued at $179.99. The male then left the basket at the front doors and left the store with the phone.
