DENSE FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM CDT THIS MORNING…

WIND ADVISORY WILL BE IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM THIS MORNING TO 8 PM CDT THIS EVENING…

For the counties of:
Russell, Lincoln, Barton, Ellsworth, Saline, Rice, McPherson.

Including the cities of Russell, Lincoln, Sylvan Grove, Great Bend, Ellsworth, Wilson, Salina, Lyons, Sterling, and McPherson.

* WHAT…For the Dense Fog Advisory, visibility as low as a quarter of a mile. For the Wind Advisory, west winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph expected.

* WHERE…Russell, Lincoln, Barton, Ellsworth, Saline, Rice, McPherson and Reno Counties.

* WHEN…For the Dense Fog Advisory, until 9 AM CDT this morning. For the Wind Advisory, from 10 AM this morning to 8 PM CDT this evening.

* IMPACTS…Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Hazardous driving conditions due to low visibility.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Isolated to scattered showers may develop this afternoon across portions of central and south-central Kansas. These showers may be accompanied by wind gusts to 50 mph.
