KANSAS CITY, Kan. – Police in Kansas City, Kansas have canceled an Amber Alert for a 2-week-old and a 16-year-old after they were forcibly taken from a home early Sunday morning.
Police said 2-week-old Bellanice Diaz and 16-year-old Aracely Arambula were located in Excelsior Springs, Missouri and are safe. They were taken from a home in the 1100 block of Greeley Avenue in KCK around 5 a.m.
KANSAS CITY, Kan. – An Amber Alert has been issued Sunday afternoon for 2-week-old Bellanice Diaz and 16-year-old Aracely Arambula by the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department.
According to Kansas City Police, Diaz and Arambula were forcibly taken from a home in the 1100 block of Greeley Avenue in KCK around 5 a.m.
KCKPD identified them as mother and daughter. Police said the two were forced into a vehicle at gunpoint early this morning after a fight with the child’s father and his brother.
The suspects have been identified as 21-year-old Jacob Diaz and 23-year-old Julian Diaz. Police said they are to be considered armed and dangerous.
Bellanice is approximately 1’5″ tall and weighs six pounds. She black hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a pink onesie.
Aracely is approximately 5’4″ tall and weighs around 120 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a burgundy shirt with checkered pajama pants and was barefoot.
Suspect Jacob Diaz is approximately 5’9″ tall and weighs around 135 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Suspect Julian Diaz is approximately 5’6″ tall and weighs around 140 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
The group was last seen in a red 2012 Honda Odyssey with KS “In God We Trust” tag with license AR299.
