Don’t miss out on Salina Symphony’s Season Opener, Classical Expression, on Sunday, October 6th. The program will include Beethoven’s “The Consecration of the House Overture” and Mendelssohn’s “Concerto for Piano, Violin and Strings in D minor” featuring guest artists Lorraine Min, piano, and Terence Tam, violin. In addition, the Symphony will perform contemporary works by two female composers from the Midwest: Stephanie Berg’s “Ravish and Mayhem” and Laurel Littrell’s “The Prairie Ascendant.” The Symphony will close the concert with Borodin’s “Symphony No. 2 in B minor.” Visit www.SalinaSymphony.org for ticket information Source
