Next, choose an activity (or two!) to extend learning:

-THINK OUTSIDE THE (TISSUE) BOX
Using an empty tissue box and other found materials, consider the different ways to deconstruct and reimagine materials found around the house.

-PLAY a memory match game based on the book at the link below or make your own version at home! www.rif.org/…/w…/most-magnificent-thing-memory-match

-DRAW a picture about a time when you struggled or didn’t succeed. How did it made you feel? What did you learn?

-PLAY the scribble game! What unexpected art will you create? Check out these directions from author & artist Jarrett Lerner:

I have tons to read but anyone looking for good books here are my suggestions mystery 28 and a half wishes by Denise Grover Swank urban fantasy romance Hailey Edwards Beginners Guide To Necromancy horror Brian Harmon Rushed

My 8 year old son is reading chapter books faster than I can loan them from the library. Any suggestions? I'd like to keep changing the genre so he gets a variety but lately has been into the 13 story treehouse, the 26 story treehouse, etc.

My husband loves to read Isekai which is a genre of Japanese light novels, manga, anime, etc. - he is always downloading series after series of light novels (quick, easy reads translated into English from Japanese) in this genre on Amazon - that revolve around a normal person from Earth being transported to, reborn or otherwise trapped in a parallel universe, fantasy world or virtual world. Would you have any suggestions that I could offer him that the library may own in this genre rather than spending more money on Amazon? There is no need for it to be another Japanese translation but rather a book with that same subject matter: a normal person from Earth being transported to, reborn or otherwise trapped in a parallel universe, fantasy world or virtual world Thanks in advance!

Winter Garden by Kristin Hannah. Looking for other authors/books similar to her. Thanks!

I heard the William Allen White books have been announced. Do you know what they are this year?

I enjoy the author Mary Higgins Clark. Any similar authors you would recommend?

My husband enjoys the Longmeier series by Craig Johnson. Are there other authors that are similar?
