SALINA – A recent hit and run is the focus of this week’s Crime Stoppers Crime of the Week.

According to Crime Stoppers, the Salina Police Department is investigating a hit and run traffic collision that occurred at 6:42 p.m. on April 29 at Broadway Boulevard and Franklin Street.

The vehicle in question was a white 2005-2007 Chevrolet Malibu, which was eastbound on Franklin and entered the Broadway intersection, failing to yield to an oncoming vehicle. The vehicle, when colliding with the other vehicle, lost its front bumper, and had damage to the left front quarter panel as well. The driver was described as a white female with blonde hair. The vehicle fled northbound on Broadway after the collision.
