Flooding Possible Sunday Night through Monday Night

A slow moving front will be coming through Sunday through Tuesday. Sunday night and Monday night look to have the best chances for flooding rains. Some severe weather will be possible Sunday afternoon and evening. Stay tuned to The Salina Scoop for further updates.

Tonight – A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 10 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 68. Southeast wind 14 to 17 mph, with gusts as high as 26 mph.

Sunday – Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly after 1 p.m. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Partly sunny, with a high near 84. Breezy, with a south wind 16 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

Sunday Night – Showers and thunderstorms. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Low around 61. Southeast wind 10 to 15 mph becoming light and variable after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 22 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%.

Memorial Day – Showers and thunderstorms. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. High near 72. Calm wind becoming west 5 to 7 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 90%.

Monday Night – A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Cloudy, with a low around 56.

Tuesday – A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 72.

Tuesday Night – A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 1 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 56.

Wednesday – A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 1 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 77.
