Damage to Downtown Sculpture is Crime Stoppers Crime of the Week

SALINA – Crime Stoppers is seeking information from the public regarding the recent vandalism of a downtown sculpture.

According to the Salina Police Department, an unknown person damaged a sculpture at the corner of Iron and 7th Street, sometime between 1 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 11.

The sculpture, named “Dave”, was on display for the Sculpture Tour in Salina.

Total damage sustained to the sculpture has been estimated at $2,000.
