Since this thing was announced, I've been skeptical most of the time. I jsut have a hard time believing we are a threat to each other inside a radius of 6 feet. And I've lived that belief from the beginning. I wore a mask once (that was while I was in the hospital for a condition that was completely unrelated to covid-19. I had a staph infection. And I wore the mask into the hall for an exercise walk. About 3 feet into the hall I had removed the mask.
The point of this post is not to demonstrate any rebellion, or set any king of example. THe point has been to try and make it clear that Geeks, Inc. is open and operating with no changes. If you have computer issues I am here to help. Other health issues have caused me to curtail my onsite service (as well as some pickup and delivery), but the shop is still operating and available to resolve whatever issues you may have.
The latest scam scenario is still a call from "Microsoft" claiming htey have found errors on your computer and wil fix it for a fee. Microsoft does not call customers. These are absolutely scams. Hang up. If you've already allowed them to "help" you, your computer is infected and will soon begin to show signs of trouble. Next, they'll ca;ll back to check and get even more money from you. I can remove the infection and restore your system to like new performance.
