Join us for Business After Hours on January 17th hosted by Christ Episcopal Cathedral

Historic Christ Cathedral has been a presence in Salina's downtown since 1910. The Cathedral is a church of the Episcopal Diocese of Western Kansas, and is a shining example of Gothic revival architecture and home to some of the most beautiful stained glass in the country. The Episcopal Church has been part of the history of Salina, involved in the founding of St. Johns Military School, Ashby House, and Saint Francis Ministries. Today the Cathedral family has an active presence in the community and supports a number of other ministries in Salina.

Four park locations in Salina will accept and recycle Christmas trees into mulch between Dec.17 and Jan. 31, 2019. The mulch will be used around newly planted trees and to surface nature trails. The sculpture with the most votes will be purchased by the City of Salina, up to $15,000, and will be permanently displayed in the community. While the sculptures will remain on display through April of 2019, People's Choice voting ends December 31, 2018. You can find walking tour maps and ballots at many of the downtown businesses as well as the Salina Area Chamber of Commerce. Completed ballots can be submitted at those same locations.
