Ellsworth County: Person Who Tested Positive for COVID-19 Had Been at Swimming Pool

ELLSWORTH – The Ellsworth County Health Department today reported that a person who tested positive for COVID-19 had been at the Ellsworth Municipal Swimming Pool this past Tuesday, according to a media release.

Individuals who were at the Ellsworth Municipal Swimming Pool on Tuesday, July 21 are encouraged to self-monitor for any of the following symptoms and are recommended to contact the Ellsworth County Health Department or primary care provider IF they develop any of the following symptoms within 14 days from July 21, 2020.

Those symptoms include:

  • Fever of 100.4 F or higher
  • Chills
  • Rigors
  • Myalgia (muscle pain or aches)
  • Malaise
  • Headache
  • Sore throat
  • Lower respiratory illness (cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing)
  • New olfactory (smell) and taste disorders
  • Nausea/vomiting
  • Diarrhea

“It is important that the public be informed, monitor symptoms and contact a primary caregiver or the Ellsworth County Health Department if they become sick,” Health Officials noted in the release.
