Woman Hospitalized After Two Vehicle Accident at South Salina Intersection

SALINA – A Salina woman was taken to the hospital after a two vehicle collision at a south Salina intersection Sunday evening.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, Catherine J. Mihm, 53, was driving a 2007 Honda Accord south through the intersection of Belmont Boulevard and Magnolia Road just after 7 p.m.

Michael B. Willis-Blevins, 17, Neosho, Mo., was traveling north on Belmont in a 1989 Toyota passenger vehicle, and made a left turn in front of Mihm’s vehicle, and the two collided.

Mihm was taken to Salina Regional Health Center for treatment of possible injuries. Willis-Blevins, and a 17-year-old male passenger, were not injured.

All occupants of both vehicles were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the Highway Patrol.
