Warm and Breezy Weather Continues, Severe Storms Possible Tuesday

Warm and breezy conditions will dominate the end of the weekend. Winds will gust up to 35 mph during the afternoon for the next three days. Showers and thunderstorms will become possible as the week progresses with severe storms possible Tuesday night. Some heavy rain is also likely with the strongest storms.

An approaching storm system will bring increasing chances for severe storms Tuesday and Tuesday night. The main hazards will be large hail and damaging winds. An unsettled weather pattern will bring additional chances for severe storms later in the week.

  • Tonight – Mostly clear, with a low around 65. South wind 9 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph.
  • Monday – Mostly sunny, with a high near 90. Breezy, with a south wind 10 to 15 mph increasing to 16 to 21 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 29 mph.
  • Monday Night – Mostly cloudy, with a low around 68. South wind 15 to 17 mph, with gusts as high as 31 mph.
  • Tuesday – A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 p.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 85. Breezy, with a south wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 31 mph.
  • Tuesday Night – A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 64.
  • Wednesday – A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 1 p.m. Mostly sunny, with a high near 82.
  • Wednesday Night – Mostly clear, with a low around 56.
  • Thursday – A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 p.m. Mostly sunny, with a high near 83.
  • Thursday Night – Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly before 1 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 60. Chance of precipitation is 70%.
