UPDATE: Missing Hutchinson Teen Located Safely in Salina

UPDATE: A missing Hutchinson teenager has been located in Salina.

A representative of Kansas Missing and Unsolved tells The Salina Scoop that an anonymous tip led authorities to Emily Cox, 15, who had been missing from Hutchinson since April 1st.

Cox’s family said the teen may have been the target of human trafficking.

She was located safely early Saturday at a Salina apartment complex, according to Kansas Missing and Unsolved.

The family of a Hutchinson teenager that has been missing for nearly three weeks say she may now be in the Salina area.

Emily Cox, 15, was last seen at about 1:30 p.m. on April 1st in Hutchinson. Her family says she may now be in Salina and may be in a human trafficking situation.

Emily is 5’7″ tall and weighs 160 pounds. She has sandy blonde curly hair and hazel eyes. She was last known to be wearing light-colored jacket, black and white leggings and tennis shoes. She suffers from mental health issues, according to her family.
