UPDATE: High Speed Pursuit Suspect Arrested in Dickinson County

UPDATE: At 3:19 p.m., the Kansas Highway Patrol was reporting that the driver that led law enforcement on a high speed pursuit and a foot pursuit was now in custody in rural Dickinson County.

The suspect was captured by troopers on a farm near the intersection of 3100 Avenue and Gulf Road.

UPDATE: At 3:10 p.m., law enforcement officers are now pursuing the driver on foot. According to reports, he fled from his vehicle shortly after passing the intersection of 3100 Avenue and Fair Road in Dickinson County.

The foot pursuit appears to be closer to 3100 Avenue and Gulf Road as of 3:13 p.m.

UPDATE: As of 2:55 p.m., the pursuit was in the town of Solomon in Western Dickinson County.

Law enforcement officers have been involved in a high speed pursuit that began in Salina just after 2:15 p.m. Sunday.

According to reports, Salina Police attempted to stop the vehicle for an expired tag in the parking lot at Target, 2939 Market Place. The vehicle did not stop and and led officers through several Salina streets.

As of 2:40 p.m., the Kansas Highway Patrol has joined the pursuit, which was last known to be south on Niles Road from Interstate 70 in eastern Saline County.
