Three suspects were arrested Saturday after allegedly stealing a vehicle from the driveway of a Salina home.
Police say the daughter-in-law of Thomas Miller, 68, notified authorities at about 10 a.m. Saturday after Miller discovered his 2005 Ford Explorer missing from the driveway of his home in the 600 block of Harold, where he had parked it the night before.
Miller’s daughter-in-law spotted the vehicle at about 12:50 p.m. at Casey’s General Store, 500 N. Ohio. The woman confronted the three people that were in possession of the vehicle, all of whom fled the scene before police arrived.
The suspects were located a short time later at a residence in the 1300 block of E. North. Police also recovered drug paraphernalia inside the stolen vehicle.
Arrested were Justice Ratcliff, 19, Austin Werner, 19, and Kylie Geske, 19.
Ratcliff was booked on requested charges of possession of a stimulant, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of stolen property. Werner was booked on requested charges of conspiracy to commit felony theft and felony obstruction. Geske was booked on a single requested charge of felony theft, according to police.
