Tchaikovsky’s “The Sleeping Beauty” Ballet with The Salina Symphony This Weekend at the Stiefel Theatre

SALINA – The Salina Symphony and the Tamara Howe School of Dance will present Salina’s first full length production of Tchaikovsky’s “The Sleeping Beauty” ballet on Saturday, January 27 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, January 28 at 4 p.m.

The production will feature the entire Salina Symphony and 60 dancers ranging from age six through adult. Dancers for the production represent the following studios and organizations: Tamara Howe School of Dance, Center for Theatre Arts, Prestige School of Dance, Artistree (Hutchinson), The Dance Department: Abilene Parks and Recreation, and Kansas Wesleyan University.

The beloved tale of the beautiful Princess Aurora, a dashing prince and the triumph of good over evil will leave you feeling happily ever after!

Tickets are $37 and $27 for adults and $20 for students and children ages 5 and older.
