Storms Possible Late This Week

Dry weather is expected Wednesday and Thursday. Thunderstorms will be possible Thursday night in central Kansas, with periodic storm chances area-wide from Friday into Memorial Day Weekend. A few strong to severe storms will be possible.

  • Wednesday – Sunny, with a high near 70. Northwest wind 8 to 11 mph.
  • Wednesday Night – Mostly clear, with a low around 48. North northwest wind around 6 mph becoming light and variable.
  • Thursday – Sunny, with a high near 80. South southeast wind 7 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.
  • Thursday Night – A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 1 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 60. South southeast wind 5 to 11 mph becoming north northeast after midnight.
  • Friday – Mostly sunny, with a high near 82.
  • Friday Night – A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 60.
  • Saturday – A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 1 p.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 76.
  • Saturday Night – A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 55.
