Spring Spruce Up Set for April 21

SALINA – Do you want to make a difference? You can. Spring Spruce-Up, a community work day, will take place on Saturday, April 21 from 7:30 a.m. to noon.

Calling for volunteers! Here’s a family-friendly opportunity to work alongside others who care about our community. There will be several projects including: cleaning of sculptures, clean-up on the YMCA trails and Smoky Hill River Channel, trash pick-up in North Town District, rain barrel construction, cleaning of the first floor of the Salina Innovation Center located in the Masonic Temple and parking lot beautification in Salina Downtown.

You will join other volunteers and together pick-up trash in North Town District, cut down invasive species on the Smoky Hill River and pick-up trash, beautify the Salina Downtown parking lots, clean the 1st floor of the Innovation Center located at the Masonic Temple, wash public sculptures and build 50 rain barrels for free give-away.
