Seasonal Temperatures Expected Friday, Light Snow Possible Late Saturday, Much Colder Sunday

Highs on Friday are expected to generally be in the 60 to 65 degree range which is close to seasonal highs for this time of year.

Light snow will be possible late Saturday night for parts of north central Kansas. Amounts are expected to be generally less than an inch.

Strong cold front is expected to move through Saturday and will bring unseasonably cold temps for Sunday.

  • Tonight – Partly cloudy, with a low around 29. North northeast wind 5 to 7 mph becoming calm after midnight.
  • Friday – Sunny, with a high near 63. Light and variable wind becoming south southwest 10 to 15 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 28 mph.
  • Friday Night – Partly cloudy, with a low around 46. Breezy, with a south wind 14 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 36 mph.
  • Saturday – Mostly sunny, with a high near 55. Breezy, with a west southwest wind 14 to 22 mph becoming north in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 31 mph.
  • Saturday Night – A chance of rain and snow between 1 a.m. and 2 a.m., then a chance of snow after 2 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 27. North northeast wind 10 to 18 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
  • Sunday – Mostly cloudy, with a high near 45.
  • Sunday Night – Partly cloudy, with a low around 32.
  • Monday – Partly sunny, with a high near 66.
  • Monday Night – Partly cloudy, with a low around 41.
  • Tuesday – A 20 percent chance of rain before 1 p.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 56.
