A Salina man was hospitalized after a rollover crash at the I-70/I-135 junction Tuesday evening.
Saline County Sheriff’s Captain Jim Hughes tells The Salina Scoop that Thomas Carver, 34, was traveling eastbound on Interstate 70, when he attempted to exit onto southbound Interstate 135 in a 1997 Toyota 4-Runner at about 7:30 p.m.
Carver, who was driving too fast, lost control of the vehicle on the curve of the ramp, struck a delineator, then entered the I-135 median and overturned.
Carver was transported to Salina Regional Health Center by EMS and was released after treatment of his injuries. He was then arrested and booked on requested charges of driving under the influence, improper driving and no proof of insurance, according to Hughes.
