A Salina man is custody facing charges in connection to alleged sex crimes with a minor.
Police say Jeremy Barr, 32, was arrested late Saturday afternoon after law enforcement was notified by an eyewitness to the crimes. The witness walked into Barr’s home in the 1200 block of Yale at around 9 p.m. Friday and allegedly found a 15-year-old boy involved in a sexual act with Barr.
During an interview with police, the boy said he had been involved in nine sexual encounters with Barr since the end of March.
Barr was booked into the Saline County Jail on multiple requested charges including nine counts of indecent liberties with a child, seven counts of criminal sodomy with a child, two counts of obscenity to a minor and one county of electronic solicitation of a minor, according to police.
