Construction on a new interchange on I-135 and Mohawk Rd. north of the city of McPherson will soon be completed and the interchange opened to traffic. In celebration of its completion a ribbon cutting will be conducted on Tuesday, April 4 at 1:30 p.m. The ceremony will take place on the bridge portion of the new interchange.
Speakers will include KDOT District Engineer Randy West, McPherson County Commissioner Ron Loomis and McPherson City Mayor Tom Brown. The public is welcome.
In the event of rain, the ribbon cutting will take place at the KDOT McPherson Sub Area located at 2000 S. Front St., McPherson.
