Another arrest has been made from the March edition of the Salina’s Most Wanted List.
According to the Saline County Sheriff’s Office, William Eugene Gardenhire is now in custody.
Gardenhire, 38, was being sought by authorities on multiple felony probation violations for obstruction, aggravated failure to appear and two counts of possession of marijuana. He was arrested by Saline County authorities just after 11:30 a.m. Thursday.
This brings the total arrests from this month’s list, which was released March 3, to nine.
Since the inception of the Salina’s Most Wanted program in 2000, a total of 2,695 arrests have been made as a direct result of tips generated by the list. As a result of those tips, 384 rewards have been paid out.
