An early morning fire has destroyed a vehicle in northwestern Saline County.
The Saline County Sheriff’s Office said firefighters were went to the 1500 block of N. Link Road at about 4:30 a.m. Tuesday after Kathy Reynolds awoke to find her 2002 Pontiac Montana engulfed in flames.
Reynolds told deputies the vehicle had recently stopped running and had moved out of a driveway of the residence.
The cause of the fire is believed to be electrical in nature and foul play is not suspected, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
The van, valued at $2,500, was a total loss. There were no injuries.
Firefighters from Saline County Rural Fire District #3 responded to the fire.
