McPherson Public Library Highlights McPherson Women

MCPHERSON – The economic success of a city is often dependent in part on its employee base and business owners. On Monday, February 12, at 6 p.m., the McPherson Public Library (MPL) will host “Success Stories,” a discussion panel highlighting the important role that women play in the industries and businesses of McPherson.

The panel moderated by Shannon Brake, Marketing and Communications Manager for MPL, will feature McPherson career women Lanae Powell, Realtor at Ellene McKean and Associates; Ann Engel, Executive Director at McPherson Main Street; Anne Kirchner, Community Information Coordinator at McPherson Convention & Visitors Bureau; and Jennifer Bonham, Assistant Trust Officer at Peoples State Bank and Trust.

Throughout the session, panelists will discuss their path to success, their ability to overcome challenges, advice in achieving balance and their insights to the resources available to anyone wanting to succeed in their career. This is a unique opportunity for anyone, both women and men, wanting an insider’s view on the unique stories, skills and achievements that have led to success in business and in the workplace. There will be time allowed for questions and answers.
