According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, troopers were pursuing Robert Austin Moore, 28, Spirit Lake, Idaho, westbound on I-70, about eight miles west of Salina, just after 5:30 p.m.
When troopers threw stop sticks, Moore attempted to avoid the sticks, lost control, left the road, and rolled over. The vehicle, a 1997 Chrysler Town and Country, came to rest in the ditch.
Moore was taken by ambulance to Salina Regional Health Center for treatment of his injuries, the extent of which were not immediately known.
Moore was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, according to the Highway Patrol.
Authorities have not said why Moore was being pursued.
