Freezing Drizzle Possible Tonight Through Saturday Morning, Near Normal Temperatures Sunday

Freezing drizzle could affect central Kansas tonight and linger into the morning hours on Saturday. Travel could become hazardous especially for untreated roadways.

Warmer near normal temperatures are expected across Kansas on Sunday.

  • Saturday – Freezing rain, possibly mixed with rain before 11 a.m., then rain between 11 a.m. and noon, then a chance of drizzle after noon. High near 43. East northeast wind 6 to 13 mph becoming west northwest in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 21 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New ice accumulation of less than a 0.1 of an inch possible.
  • Saturday Night – Mostly clear, with a low around 19. West wind 6 to 11 mph.
  • Sunday – Mostly sunny, with a high near 50. West southwest wind 6 to 9 mph.
