Barricades Will Be Allowed for Fourth of July Holiday

SALINA – Early Wednesday afternoon, the City of Salina issued a notice indicating that the city would not be issuing barricade permits on July 3 and 4.

According to City officials, that information has been rescinded and barricades will now be allowed with a proper permit.

As a reminder, fireworks are only allowed to be ignited or discharged on July 3 and 4 from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. Fireworks are not to be ignited or launched while on public property or on roadways.
