Another round of precipitation is forecast for this weekend from Friday night through early Sunday. There could be mixed precipitation across portions of south central and southeast Kansas late Friday night into early Saturday. This would be in the form of freezing drizzle. Possibly freezing rain could occur in the southeast corner of the state through mid-day Saturday. As colder air moves in, any liquid precipitation will transition to snow. Accumulations of a trace to three inches are possible for south central into the northern half of the state. If you are traveling this weekend, check the road conditions before you head out. This forecast could change so stay tuned for updates.
