Radio Shack, which has been a tenant in the Central Mall since its opening in 1987, will close its doors next week.
This location will combine with the Sunset Plaza location upon closing.
Radio Shack becomes the second major tenant to leave the mall this month. Sears, which relocated to the mall in 1992, will close on March 26th.
The Central Mall store is one several the Fort Worth, Texas based retail chain will close as it prepares to file for bankruptcy protection for the second time in two years.
Sears and Radio Shack become the latest stores to exit the Central Mall. Within the last two years, Finish Line, B Strong Running Company, Taco John’s, USAmsterdam and Varney’s have all closed their doors.
